My First set of Twilight Ornaments

Here is a pic of the first set of my Twilight series themed ornaments. I plan to make a set of three ornaments from each of the books. I'll post pics of them once they are completed.

I finally finished my first ornament for my Twilight themed Christmas tree today.

I have started on another one and hope to have it finished in a day or two. Also, got some ornament hooks made for my Twilight ornaments. I'll post more pics as I get more made!

My Twilight room has kind of been put on hold due to an air conditioning issue but things will be up and going by the time Autumn gets here. I can't wait to get things finished and get share some pics with everyone.

Updates for my Twilight room

OMG! I can't believe that it's been over a month since I posted updates. Life has been really busy around here lately.

As for updates, I've managed to get desks set up and my crafting table set up but I haven't been able to get things decorated like I want to as of yet. I was hoping to have new pics ready to post today but it will actually be a few more days before I can get them posted.

My Twilight room update

Wow! What a beautiful weekend! I finally got everything carried back upstairs to my Twilight room and now I have to start putting things away. I painted some old storage cabinets black to use till I can get something different, so tonite I'll be working on organizing those. Once that is done and everything has a place I'll go back and "Twilight accessorize" everything so that all the storage items coordinate with my Twilight theme.

Twilight Room Progress

We finally got the flooring down in my Twilight room and it looks great!! We will need to get some quarter round moulding to go around the baseboards but I'm going to go ahead and work on getting things organized and decorated this week.

The Twilight room will also be an office/study for me and the hubs so I will start working on getting our desks set up as well as an area for my jewelry making and crafting. Lots of work to be done so I'll keep posting updates.

It's back to work on my Twilight room!

I'm so excited! Finally things are getting back to normal and last nite the hubs installed the portable air unit in my Twilight room. Tonite will consist of priming the floors with a special primer that helps the vinyl tiles stick to the subflooring. If that dries quickly then we will begin laying the tiles if not then we will lay the tiles tomorrow.

I hope to have my special ordered bookends and tulip arrangement in by the end of the week. I'll post some new pics later tonite!

Sorry but I have been really sick so I haven't got the chance to work on my Twilight room the last few days.

Update on Twilight room

We had a situation with the flooring and had to choose a different flooring for my Twilight room so within the next 2-3 days hopefully the new floor will be down and I can get busy decorating my room! I've been sick the last few days so I'll get more pics posted when we begin laying the flooring.

I'm so EXCITED!!!! My husband agreed to let me do our upstairs room in a Twilight theme!!!

I'm going to paint the walls silver with glitter mixed in the paint for that Edward "sparkle affect". I've got so many ideas buzzing around in my head right now that I need to make a list. I'll be sure and post pics of my work in progress. I'm going to start priming my walls in the next day or two.

I hope by now that everyone has seen the Twilight movie. I loved it. I can't wait till the dvd comes out. I'm in the process of reading the books a second time around. Hopefully New Moon will come out soon for those of us who can't seem to get enough. Twilight is constantly on my mind. I'm sure it's like that for a lot of fans!

Yes I'm one of those Twilight people!! And I'm proud of it! Although I will talk a lot about the Twilight series here I will also talk about other things.

I'm in the process of learning how to make jewelry and I plan to make mostly Twilight themed items. If there is anyone out there that can offer tips on how to get started making jewelry feel free to let me know!
